Music Minus One

Essentially, Music Minus One (MMO) is a recorded backing track of either a song or a specific chord progression minus the instrument you're playing.
For example, if your instrument is a saxophone, you can buy or create backing tracks for certain popular standards like Summertime. Not only would this allow you to play the melody with a simulated band, but it would also give you the ability to improvise or solo the chord changes in that song.
If the solo vocal is "missing" then it is (more or less) a Karaoke file. The series of MMO are available for many instruments like guitar, bass, drums, keys, saxophone and many more. These MMO tracks are a great posibility to practice and improve your musicality while having a lot of fun!
